The C800 is an 8 metre aluminium catamaran boat kit and the point where the Sherwood Marine catamaran range crosses from recreational into genuinely work-capable territory. It is offered in one configuration - the C800 cab - at $47,190 excluding GST.

The hulls are 8.00 m long with an 8.95 m overall length on a 2.95 m beam. Plate is 6 mm on the bottom, 4 mm sides, 4 mm decks and 3 and 4 mm cabin. Deadrise at the centre of gravity is 18 degrees and the deck is self-draining. Fuel capacity is 2 x 350 litres for 700 litres total, and person capacity is eight. Power is twin outboards to 200 hp each, with 2 x 150 to 200 hp recommended and a 245 kg per-engine weight limit.

Configured with a separate wc/shower forward to port, and a double berth on centreline/starboard, it suits a range of uses from family trips overnight or as a dayboat, offshore fishing, or as a long distance cruiser. At 2.95 m beam and around 3.0 tonnes unladen, it is more likely to be kept in the water or hardstand than a road trailer.
